MULTI-AUTOMATIC TOOL AND SUPPLY COMPANY

Multi-Automatic Tool & Supply Co. is a wholesale distributor and dealer of machine replacement parts, functional attachments, work holding products and cutting tools for the multi-spindle machining industry. We were established in 1996 and we are located in Walker, Michigan, which is in the greater Grand Rapids area.

Multi-Automatic assists manufacturers in industries ranging from heavy equipment hydraulic products to medical and automotive component manufacturers. We supply our products to companies that utilize multi-spindle automatics, single spindle and rotary transfer machines, Swiss and CNC lathes, as well as vertical and horizontal machining centers.

In addition to Multi-Automatic's product lines, we offer some unique services. What sets us apart from our competitors is that we personally meet with our customers, we listen to their needs, and recommend and provide products and services that result in savings, improvements and better efficiencies for the customer. Our products and services are often customized in order to address specific issues that arise in high volume manufacturing environments.

Although the majority of its customers are in the U.S., Multi-Automatic offers its products to the global market, regularly shipping products to China, France, Mexico and Canada. In order to fulfill customer demands, Multi maintains inventory at its Walker facility as well as drop ships various products direct to the end user.

Multi-Automatic was first established as Priority Supply, Inc. in 1996. At that time we were a distributor of cutting tools and abrasives and serviced the west Michigan area. Within the first ten years, Priority Supply became a specialized one-stop-shop for manufacturers that utilize screw machines – manufacturers who produce large volumes of round precision metal parts. We became who we are by servicing manufacturers that utilized multi-spindle automatics, and through the acquisition of L.V. Cole & Associates and Multi-Automatic Equipment and Supply Co.

• 1997Secured its first two distribution agreements with Hardinge and Cincinnati Milacron
• 1997Acquired three employees and two major customers Delphi Automotive and Autocam Corp.
• 1997Began a five year lease of a 4,000 square foot facility in the north west side of Grand Rapids
• 1998Established new major customer - John Deere
• 2000Began an inventory consignment program with Delphi Automotive for detail fixture items
• 2001Established new major customer - Whirlpool Corporation
• 2002Began new lease of a 6,000 square foot facility in the north west side of Grand Rapids
• 2005Priority Supply acquired L.V. Cole & Associates, a supplier of screw machine replacement parts
• 2005Grew to seven employees, and over 100 customers
• 2010Priority Supply acquired Multi-Automatic Equipment and Supply Company out of Inkster Michigan.
• 2010Priority Supply changed its name, doing business as Multi-Automatic Tool and Supply. Co.
